To say we are over the moon with this weeks Alencon national result with the British International Championship Club is an understatement. We had 4 drop together to provisionally take the first 4 positions against 4639 birds. We also have others close up behind backing them up so an overall top team performance.
The Hen that came first also won the BB&O Federation race from Weymouth last week against 1574 birds so she was in great form.
Incidentally her nest mate 42062 scored 2nd section, 4th Open in the National Flying Club Youngbird National from Coutances last year so a fantastic nest pair of pigeons.
Another pleasing thing for us is that she is a grand daughter of ‘Southfield Champ’ who was 1st Open National Flying Club Saintes 4128 birds and he is also grand father to the prov 3rd and 4th Open pigeons.
We currently have 64 back from 78
